Despite a late start to racing, Chandler Hull has not let that deter his progress to make motorsports a lifelong career. Hailing from Dallas, TX, Hull has always been enamored with all things cars. From the early days of collecting Hot Wheels, to the more recent weekends at the track, there has always been a need for speed. At the age of 21, Hull began his on track driving by attending a local PCA high performance driving event. This quickly led to Hull wanting more. So, in 2018, he purchased a BMW SpecE46 to begin his racing career. Hitting as many tracks as he could, Hull ended his first competition season with 32 races under his belt.

After a successful club racing season, Hull made the step up by making his professional debut in 2019 driving a BMW M240iR in the TC America series with BimmerWorld Racing. Despite having just one year of competitive racing on his resume, Hull drove a very successful rookie season by earning Rookie of the Year honors as well as finishing 3rd overall in the Driver’s Championship. Along with his driving in the United States, Hull made his European debut by racing in the VLN series at the Nürburgring in Germany.

In 2020, Hull continued his career in the ultra-competitive TC America series with BimmerWorld Racing. Aiming for another successful season, Hull ultimately finished 4th in the driver’s standings. Along with his TC America effort, Hull also made his GT4 debut driving with Fast Track Racing/Classic BMW in SRO’s GT4 America Silver class and IMSA’s GS class. For the season finale, Hull teamed up with James Clay and Bill Auberlen to take on the inaugural Indianapolis 8 Hour, resulting in a class victory at the Brickyard!

The 2021 season saw Hull compete in GT4 America, DTM Trophy and 24H Series with BimmerWorld Racing, Walkenhorst Motorsports and ST Racing respectively. In addition to his GT4 efforts, Hull made his GT3 debut in the Asian Le Mans Series with Walkenhorst Motorsports in a BMW M6 GT3. Throughout the season, Hull took numerous trips to Germany to compete in several NLS races with Walkenhorst Motorsports finishing on the podium on numerous occasions. Hull, Clay and Auberlen ended the SRO season on a high note by defending their Indianapolis 8 Hour win, the trio found themselves as the only GT4 class winners in the race’s history due to regulation changes. To end Hull’s already successful 2021 season, he and ST Racing were able to clinch both the GT4 class championship as well as winning the overall GT championship in both the Driver and Team standings!

Hull made the full time jump up to GT3 machinery in 2022 with returning trips to the Middle East for the Dubai 24H, as well as the Asian Le Mans Series, driving for ST Racing and Walkenhorst Motorsports respectively. However, Hull’s main focus for 2022 was a SRO GT World Challenge America campaign running the new BMW M4 GT3 with BimmerWorld Racing. Chandler was paired up with BMW legend, Bill Auberlen. Hull and Auberlen were able to finish on the podium every race weekend. Most impressively, Hull and Auberlen teamed up with Richard Heistand to win the Pro/Am class at the season finale Indy 8 Hour - Hull and Auberlen’s third class victory in as many years.

Chandler partnered up with the legendary Bill Auberlen again in 2023 for full season efforts in the IMSA WeatherTech series with Turner Motorsports, as well as returning to SRO GT World Challenge America for a full season Pro class effort with BimmerWorld Racing. Hull also joined STR38 Motorsports for a GT4 America drive. Hull made the quick trip back to the UAE in February to join Walkenhorst Motorsport for the Asian Le Mans series again. This time sharing driving duties with Nicky Catsburg and Thomas Merrill. After two weeks in the desert, Hull and his co-drivers won the GT Championship which included an automatic entry to the centenary running of 24 Hours of Le Mans. At the famous French race, Walkenhorst and Hull partnered with AF Corse to field a Ferrari 488 GTE with co-drivers Andrew Haryanto and Jeff Segal, a former Le Mans class winner. The trio survived a chaotic race and finished P8 on the team’s debut!

2024 will have Hull spending the majority of his time in Europe racing once again with Walkenhorst Motorsports in the ADAC GT Masters series. Hull will also return to the Nurburgring with the Melle based team for selected NLS races as well as the 24H Nurburgring!
